No-Refund Policy for Professional Services

Effective June 17, 2025 – ProTax & More, LLC (the “Company”)

1. Scope

This policy governs all services sold or rendered by the Company, including but not limited to:

- Tax preparation and filing
- Bookkeeping, virtual CFO, and accounting consulting
- Business-formation and compliance filings
- Live or recorded training, courses, and mentoring programs
- Digital products, templates, and downloadable materials

All sales channels (online checkout, emailed invoice, in-person payment, or mobile/door-to-door transactions) are covered.

2. All Sales Final – No Refunds

Once payment is accepted or service delivery has begun, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. This helps us allocate expert time, reserve software licenses, and protect proprietary content. Clients are encouraged to ask any questions before purchasing to ensure the service meets their needs.

3. Statutory Exceptions

While Georgia law allows businesses to adopt a “no-refund” policy, we must still honor rights that cannot be waived by contract:

Situation

What the law requires

How we comply

Door-to-door or temporary-location sales valued at ≥ $25 at a buyer’s home (≥ $130 at other temporary locations)

FTC Cooling-Off Rule: 3-business-day right to cancel and receive full refund

We provide the federally-required cancellation notice and honor timely cancellations

Services prepaid but not yet performed

Under the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act, refusing a pro-rated refund on undelivered prepaid services may be deemed unfair or deceptive

If we cannot deliver a prepaid portion, we will (at our option) reschedule or issue a pro-rated refund

Material misrepresentation, defective, or unlawful service

Georgia FBPA prohibits unfair or deceptive acts

We will remedy the defect or, if remediation is impossible, offer an appropriate adjustment

Except for the above limited circumstances, no refunds, charge-backs, or credits will be issued.

4. Rescheduling & Service Credits

For live sessions (meetings, classrooms, or mentoring) we allow one complimentary reschedule with ≥ 48 hours’ notice. Additional changes incur a $50 administrative fee. Unused course sessions may be attended via recording at no extra charge.

5. Disclosure & Acknowledgment

This policy is prominently posted on our website, at our physical service counter, and linked in every invoice/payment page, satisfying Georgia’s requirement that any refund policy be disclosed to consumers.
By remitting payment, clients acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to this No-Refund Policy and the statutory exceptions above.

6. Dispute Resolution

If you believe you have a right to cancel or refund under the exceptions in § 3, please email info@protaxandmore.com within the applicable legal period. We will review and respond in writing within 10 business days.

7. Changes to Policy

We may amend this policy from time to time. Any revision will apply only to transactions occurring after the revised effective date.
